Responsibilities:
The Primavera Technical Analyst will support and optimise Primavera P6 (or other Primavera products), ensuring smooth functionality, system configuration, and integration.
This role involves working closely with business project managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the software meets the business's needs.
Configure and customise Primavera P6 environments to meet specific project management needs.
Provides technical support for Primavera P6 users, troubleshooting performance, data integrity, or system functionality issues.
Works with end users to resolve issues and escalate complex problems to senior IT or software support teams.
Database Management - Manage and optimise Primavera P6 databases, including backup, restoration, and performance tuning.
System Integration—Support the integration of Primavera P6 with other project management tools, ERP systems, and third-party applications.
Develop scripts or tools to automate tasks and improve workflows.
System Upgrades & Patches: Monitor for system updates and patches; plan and execute software upgrades and ensure proper testing before implementation.
Requirements:
Experience with System Administration and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Primavera P6 and associated software; set up and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
Expertise in Primavera P6 (both client/server and web versions).
Strong understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
