Summary:

The Petroleum Engineering Technical Expert will provide specialized knowledge and leadership to ensure excellence in production technology deployments, smart, well completions, artificial lift systems, waterflood management, and production system optimization. The role is integral to supporting the client's strategic projects, with a focus on fostering innovative solutions tailored for unconventional resource development. The Petroleum Engineering Technical Expert will manage and provide technical expertise, focusing on deploying advanced production technology deployments, smart well completions, well stimulations, artificial lift, waterflood excellence, and production system optimization. This role demands a deep understanding of unconventional resource management and the ability to address complex challenges using cross-disciplinary knowledge and innovative approaches
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day coaching in reservoir and petroleum engineering to UAE nationals, fostering skill
development and knowledge sharing.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to team members and the broader community of practices as needed.
Lead and oversee the implementation of advanced production technology deployments to enhance recovery and efficiency.
Provide expert guidance on smart well completions, well stimulations, and artificial lift techniques.
Optimize waterflood operations to ensure maximum reservoir performance.
Develop and refine production system strategies to meet operational and economic goals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including reservoir engineers, geologists, and production teams, to align objectives.
Identify and mitigate subsurface risks through comprehensive analysis and strategic planning.
Update and align the client’s engineering practices and guidelines with global industry standards.
Foster a culture of innovation, leveraging emerging technologies to drive operational advancements.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and promote sustainable practices.
Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or a related discipline (Master’s or PhD preferred).
A minimum of 15 years of experience in production engineering with substantial involvement in
unconventional resource projects.
Proven expertise in production technology, smart, well completions, artificial lift systems, and enhanced
recovery techniques.
Advanced proficiency in engineering software tools such as ECLIPSE, T-Nav, Petrel RE, IMEX, CMG,
